The Waldo Road Reuse and Recycling Centre is set to reopen in November following a major once-in-a-generation upgrade to the depot infrastructure, including the waste transfer station.

The Waldo Road Reuse and Recycling Centre is set to reopen in November following a major once-in-a-generation upgrade to the depot infrastructure, including the waste transfer station.

We recently told residents that the resurfacing of Mounthurst Road would occur in August. However, the work has now been put back until Thursday 24 September, weather conditions permitting.

Residents will recall how torrential rain back in June led to flooding in Pickhurst Lane.

Your Councillors are delighted to tell residents that the applicant has withdrawn from the proposed use of a children’s home at Leafy Grove House in Heathfield Road.

Transport for London (TfL) has now responded to the petition by Councillors and local residents, asking for speed cameras in hotspots such as Bourne Vale and Heathfield Road.

The frontage of Hayes Station has been refurbished and is looking very good. This work follows local Councillors’ lobbying of Southeastern.
