Councillors welcome new micro-forest at Norman Park

Hayes and Coney Hall Councillors have welcomed the news that a new micro-forest will be planted at Norman Park. 

The news comes as Bromley Council was successful in their bid for funding from the Local Authority Treescapes Fund. The micro-forest will be about the size of a tennis court and will be located close to the Hook Farm Road car park. Residents are encouraged to attend the planting which will take place on Wednesday 19^th February between 10 am-2 pm.

“That’s why I’m thrilled to see a new micro-forest installed at Norman Park as a new amenity for residents to enjoy. I would encourage any interested residents to join us for the planting event and celebrate this superb addition to one of Bromley’s beautiful parks.”
