At a meeting of the Council in December, Cllr Yvonne Bear, the Council’s Portfolio Holder for Renewal, Recreation & Housing, said the Council did not recognise the term ‘Grey Belt’ and that it would only do so if forced by Sadiq Khan in his London Plan, due to be published next year. 

 

Cllr Bear said: “While national policy has changed, our local view has not, and residents can be reassured that the Conservative administration here in Bromley will continue to resist fiercely any development on our precious Green Belt.”
