A proposal which could have seen large battery storage facilities developed on Green Belt land in Coney Hall has been rejected by Bromley Council.

The Waldo Road Reuse and Recycling Centre will reopen at weekends in late January 2026, while work to complete the upgrade of the infrastructure at the site continues.

Bromley Council has received an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Scoping application from Berkeley Homes for the Hayes Farm site. It is likely to be validated and made public shortly.
