The Deputy Mayor of Bromley opened the new and improved Husseywell Park playground in December.
The new equipment includes a daisy rocker, a new roundabout and an interactive play panel. Local Councillors secured £10,000 from Bromley Council, as well as donations from the Hayes (Kent) Village Association and the Hayes Kent Trust, to fund the bid. The Husseywell Playground Project also raised £2,000 via donations from residents.
Cllr Josh Coldspring-White said: “I’m delighted that, working with the community, we’ve been able to secure these improvements to Husseywell Park. The new additions will be well used by local families, and I’m confident the park will be a cherished asset for residents long into the future.”
