Hayes & Coney Hall ward Councillors have received an update from the Council's traffic team regarding the installation of double yellow lines on Layhams Road.
The Council’s traffic team have advised that the legal instrument to install permanent changes, the TMO, is currently with the Council’s legal team for sign-off. They expect the TMO to be signed by November 5th, by which point the TMO will be provided to the Highways Department to install the lines.
Cllr Alexa Michael said:
“We know that road safety is very important to our residents. Drivers need to park in a safe manner. The sooner these double yellow lines appear in Layhams Road, the better.”
