Following pressure from Cllr Alexa Michael, the Council's officers have now agreed to investigate extending the proposed double yellow lines on the north side of Layhams Road further along the road towards the bowls club.
She considers this would give vehicles better vision and a greater chance of returning to their side of the road should they encounter oncoming traffic.
