Following pressure from Cllr Alexa Michael, a large shipping container with no planning permission has been removed from a domestic front garden in Hilldown Road in Hayes. The container was clearly visible from the public highway and was not permitted under planning regulations. 

 

Cllr Michael said: “It is important that Bromley Council takes planning enforcement seriously, otherwise it sends the message that it is acceptable for anybody to flout the planning laws. This shipping container was an eyesore and clearly inappropriate in the front garden of a domestic property.”
