Many of us enjoy the changing of the seasons but fallen leaves can be a nuisance when they block the drains, or worse, become slippery in the rain. They can be a hazard to walk on, especially for older people.
Your local Councillors are pleased to tell you that Bromley Council began its Autumn 2025 leafing schedule on Monday, 22 September.
Cllr Alexa Michael said: “Bromley Council is proactive about leaf fall. While the changing colours of leaves in the autumn are lovely to look at, fallen leaves need to be swept up promptly. We are starting early to make sure that leaf fall does not accumulate and start to pose a hazard to pedestrians.”
