Conservative-run Bromley Council have revamped one of the pathways around St John’s Church.
The pathway, which means residents can access the graves to the west of the Church more easily, was installed earlier in July as a result of plans from Bromley Council following lobbying by Cllr. Josh Coldspring-White and local residents.
The improvements mean that local residents will be able to pay their respects without worrying that the path to the graves is uneven. This is especially important given that the Church is a Commonwealth War Graves site.
Cllr. Josh Coldspring-White said: “I am pleased to see that Bromley Council has taken action to make sure St John’s Church has better accessibility. This is so local residents can pay their respects in the knowledge that the site is well cared for.
“My colleagues and I will continue to do all we can do protect and enhance treasured local spaces like St John’s Church.”
