The proposals include introducing double yellow lines along sections of the road.
This follows the Ward Councillors’ request for additional measures after residents raised concerns that these roads were becoming too congested, often during match days at Bromley Football Club.
Residents in the affected areas have received consultation letters from Bromley Council so they can make their thoughts known before the proposals are implemented.
Cllr Josh Coldspring-White said: “I know that residents have been frustrated by the congestion that occurs on Mead Way, Bourne Vale and Hayes Lane. They are right to demand action from the Council. I’m pleased that, following our representations, we will see action to remedy this problem and would encourage residents to respond to the consultation.”
